ABOUT US

The firm was founded on 6th June 2000 by Messrs J. A. Olawin and L. O. Sule-Adekile, who practice under the name J.A. OLAWIN & CO. (Chartered Accountants).

The present senior partners were into training of Accountants since they qualified more than a decade ago hence, almost all institutions and quoted companies have one of their ex-student(s) and they believe so much in their theoretical and practical work in the field of accountancy.

Our internationally experienced professionals strive to deliver seamless, consistent services wherever our clients operate. Our mission is to help our clients and our people excel. J.A. OLAWIN & CO.  is licensed to practice as Chartered Accountants and Tax Consultants.

Allen Avenue is an extremely well known thoroughfare comprising mainly professional firms and is attractive not only for its spaciousness and historic buildings but also for the financial institutions lining the road.  It is most conveniently situated midway between the City of Lagos and the West End.

We have two partners and a staff of over 17.  The two partners had their training in Nigeria and the Principal partners had training also in United Kingdom and it is anticipated that most future partners will be selected from qualified and experienced members of the staff, thus preserving our style and character.

Our approach is flexible and based upon developing an understanding of our clients – whatever their business or location.  This enables us to provide them with the commercial and independent advice that they have a right to expect.

  
  
OUR PHILOSOPHY
  

We believe that the role of our partnership is to give expert and personal attention to all clients, both large and small, and the success of this endeavour is demonstrated by the growth and strength of our firm. Appropriate to the size, responsibility and nature of the services required, clients are served by one or  two partners and clients always have direct personal access to the partner(s) who deal with and have detailed knowledge of their affairs.

The fees we charge are based on the time necessarily incurred on the assignment,
coupled with the degree of seniority of the personnel involved. We are always conscious of the relationship between the amount of the fee and the value of the work to the client.

  



OUR STAFF

The firm has adequate qualified, dynamic  and result-oriented personnel comprising  Chartered Accountants, Computer Scientist,  Economists and Statiscians etc.

In order to be able to provide excellent professional services to our clients, we adopt a sound recruitment policy and are committed to an all round staff training and development viz: 

*    Training for professional examinations through tuition and      other courses.
*    Closely supervised on-the-job training.

*    Off the job training both internal and external.

 All these ensures that our staff are equipped with the skills necessary to provide the broad range of services set out in this brochure to our clients.
